ComicInvasion co-founder Wandrille and his publishing house Vraoum

Wandrille is an author and publisher of comics. Together with Benoit Preteseille, in 2004 he founded the publishing house Warum, later known as VRAOUM. Born in Paris, he also lived for 4 years in Berlin, where he co-founded the Comic Invasion festival with Marc Seestaedt.

He is very active on the internet, with many online stories bearing his name, and he was also the host of the Révélation Bloc and RevelatiOnline contests at the Angoulême comics festival. As a publisher, he received the Heritage Award for the French edition of Erich Ohser’s VATER UND SOHN. His passion is comics in all its forms. He is the author of some thirty books, as well as a translator.

His newest book MES GÉNIES recounts his experiences as a comics teacher for virtuosos aged 17 to 26 (more like 8 to 12 in practice). He continues to publish his own books, writes scenarios for Webtoon, but also works as a series editor, for example for Delcourt, and as a literary agent.
