ComicInvasionBerlin organizes comic events and campaigns and is, since 2012, the most colorful comic festival in the Hauptstadt, where artists and publishers can present their new work and network.
In addition to Artist Alley tables with fresh comics, the festival offers all kinds of events where the medium of comics is brought into action in an entertaining way. There are exhibitions, a reading corner and activities for kids, workshops for all ages and Satellite event programming in various Berlin comics locations around the city—as well as a comic contest, with the results presented during an awards ceremony, in an exhibition, and in a printed collection just like this one!
CIB sees itself as a platform for the Berlin comics scene and beyond, a festival by folks interested in comics for folks interested in comics. Everyone who wants to participate or show their work has the opportunity to do so!
