Reprodukt presents two Hamburg comic debuts: “Viktoria Aal” by Wiebke Bolduan and “Meute” by Noëlle Kröger
Wiebke Bolduan and Noëlle Kröger are both publishing their first graphic novel with Reprodukt.
Amidst a mermaid show, Wiebke Bolduan tells the story of authorship, self-acceptance and interpersonal relationships in “Viktoria Aal”. The characters appearing in it are full of depth and humor, and the touching dialogues raise the question: How can you accept yourself with all your weaknesses? And… What am I like?
Noëlle Kröger is in the final stages of his graphic novel debut “Meute” about power and werewolves, which will be published by Reprodukt in the fall and with which she was shortlisted for the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung’s Comic Book Prize 2024. The young student Margot begins her practical semester at the Institute of Contemporary Sciences. A live werewolf has been captured there for the first time – and she is supposed to look after it. Deep in the forest, the pack is arguing. Should they release the wolf and jeopardize their safety?
