Werkstatt für Comics, Dirk Schwieger

Exhibitor CIB20

The Werkstatt für Comics was founded in 2018 by Elke R. Steiner and Dirk Schwieger and is linked to the Gilberto Bosques-Volkshochschule in Kreuzberg.

While Elke makes it easier for participants to take their first steps or refresh their knowledge in her basic course, Dirk offers project mentoring for more advanced illustrators who want to implement their own ideas.

For two years we have traditionally published a new comic booklet in time for Comic Invasion, which we sign and sell together with zines and postcards of the participants at our own stand.

The comics on our virtual table can be ordered from the respective artists and the workshop anthologies from Dirk Schwieger (prices are listed without postage).
