I was born in Helsinki, Finlandia. After spending several years in Bologna, where I attended various courses on comic book writing, I moved to Berlin, the city in which I currently live and work as a designer.

My stories and illustrations are inspired as much by study of the past as by observation of the present, on the trail of facets of everyday human life that span the centuries. I love to write and illustrate stories about people, especially about women.
