Presentation of Berlin’s 2021 Comics Grant recipients
They are this year’s recipients of comics funding from the state of Berlin: Mikkel Sommer & Anna Rakhmanko (24.000 €), Bianca Schaalburg, Julia Bernhard and Hamed Eshrat (8.000 € each). The residency grant for Paris (15.000 €) was awarded to Karolina Chyzewska.
Tagesspiegel editor and comics expert Lars von Törne will personally present this selection of artists, with interviews and excerpts from their work.
