Reading “Zurück in die Heimat”
Nacha Vollenweider presents Salón Berlinés with her latest graphic novel “Zurück in die Heimat” (“Back to Home”).
We follow the author on her journey via Brazil and Hamburg to her home country Argentina and accompany her in everyday life, travel the country and share her encounters.
In these episodes, she asks herself personal questions: Why do I no longer want to live in Germany? What does home mean? What is mere memory? Where do I feel at home? “Zurück in die Heimat” is an associative essay and a round trip through Argentina.
The reading will be followed by a talk with the author.
