A Franco-German conversation on the topic of zine libraries

Featuring:

  • The Fanzinothèque de Poitiers (FR), an archive that is unique in the world, founded in 1989, with a collection spanning over 60.000 works. The Fanzinothèque also organises exhibits, events and printing workshops.
  • Schikkimikki (DE) is a nonprofit zine library and distro open in Berlin’s Neukölln neighborhood since 2017. It also offers exhibits and workshops.
  • The Fanzinarium (FR) is a zine library based in Paris and open since 2019.
  • The Archiv der Jugendkulturen was founded in 1997 and has one of the largest collections on youth, pop and subculture topics in Germany. This includes over 15.000 German and international fanzines from the 1950s until today.
