„Dead Time Data“ – Comics by Andy Leuenberger

“Dead Time Data” is a scifi comic series by Andy Leuenberger. On the interface of the near future, networking and overstimulation distort our perception of the real and the virtual. “Dead Time” is the time between units of measurement that cannot be measured and therefore provides room for error.

So far, four 40-page, black and white comic books have been self-published. The short stories of various lengths, some without words and some with words, are independent but related to each other. These comics are aimed at an adult audience and are not suitable for children.

In the Shoxxx Boxxx, the “Dead Time Data” comic series is presented for the first time in Berlin with an exhibition. The occasion is the celebratory release of the fourth volume, “Buzz.”

The third volume, “Nothing”, was presented with an exhibition at the 2022 Festival Microsyphon, in Mulhouse, France, at the comic store “Tribulles”. Some stories of the series have already appeared in various comic anthologies.

Andy Leuenberger is a Berlin-based artist, cartoonist and printmaker who focuses on the aestheticization of violence as a means of civilization.
