Conversation with Lion Feuchtwanger Scholarship Holder Xiyu Tomorrow

The Lion Feuchtwanger Scholarship of the Kommunikationsaufbau Foundation was awarded for the fourth time this year. In conversation with the second scholarship holder Xiyu Tomorrow (2020), we get an insight into the results of her residency and her current projects.

She is currently working on a new adaptation/variation of Shelley’s famous novel under the title “Frankenstine”; in “I Thought Things Would Get Easier with Time (All the Lost Time)” she deals with questions of identity, integration and discrimination or simply with life. Her works are experimental and at times enigmatic; she mixes comics, illustration and text passages to show what cannot normally be seen.
