Alexander von Humboldt and Aimé Bonpland set out on a historic expedition. But this time they have a camera, smartphone and social media with them!
The great German naturalist and polymath Alexander von Humboldt and the physician and botanist Aimé Bonpland travelled through South America for over five years. On their research trip they collected, measured and documented everything they came across: animals, plants or mountains. All in all, they covered around 8,000 kilometers, crossed steppes, rivers and jungles, climbed volcanoes, slept in forests and caves.
Humboldt was a gifted networker who would certainly spread his findings via social media nowadays. We accompany him on this journey and are there live via Instagram, YouTube, Twitter & Co.!
