Augmented Reality for Comic Artists
This workshop of the AURORA XR School for Artists at HTW Berlin offers the ideal introduction to the combination of Augmented Reality (AR) with comics for participants without previous knowledge.
You will learn how the technology works, which hardware and software are needed, and which interaction options exist. We’ll also take a brief look at the history of AR comics and current examples that combine the digital and analog worlds through AR. We’ll talk to comic artists about their work with AR, and end with a brainstorming session and discussion of possible applications of AR in the broad field of comic art.
Attention: The workshop is held in German. It is free of charge thanks to the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the program “Strengthening Innovation Potential in Culture III” (INP-III).
