This space will be used to produce posters for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
We will use collage techniques and graphics to create our images and messages. Each person will participate safely from home and we will be meeting via Zoom. We will also look at references related to feminist activist authors from a graphic perspective, and will share thoughts and ideas among the participants in order to provide feedback on the proposals. It is not necessary to have technical knowledge of drawing or illustration.
Suggested materials we may use for this workshop: sheets of paper (white or coloured paper), scissors, glue, pencils, black markers or paint, brushes, rollers, anything else you are comfortable with for generating textures.
We welcome inspiration or information from feminist texts, articles or any other information you want to contribute.
